The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

FREE MASK for album artwork

Ok, so here's the deal fellow deviants.
I play drums in this progressive metal band I'm in called The Antitype and we're close to having our first EP finished
and I NEED cover artwork for the CD inserts and just for general distribution with the album, and seeing as i'm not very skilled in graphic art, that's where you come in.

Basically for whoever submits the most suitable artwork I'm going to GIVE AWAY FOR FREE one of my custom mask of their choice off my etsy shop here --> [link]
in exchange for artwork to use and distribute for this album.
To get a feel for our sound and imagery (the blue logo we want included on the front of the CD, the "A" cogwheel on the back) you can check out my band's facebook page here --> [link]
Our album will be titled "Convergence"
We're going for something slightly dark, but not evil.
Think like a merging of technology with organics. A very cyberpunk type future.
It can be photography, digital art, or a painting as long as it fits and the resolution is good.
Also it doesn't have to be a completely new piece for the album. If you have existing artwork you think would be suitable please feel free as long as you don't mind our band name being somewhere on the piece.

In addition to getting a free mask and having your art featured on our album, you'll also be credited on the actual album too :)

UPDATE: Deadline for it should be within the next 3 weeks. Also! second place will get a choice of a free pokemon mask or pokemon goggles and have their artwork featured on the Inner CD inserts. :)

alright so! Me and my band have chosen your artwork as the winner! you can select any of the masks or goggles i have on my etsy page and just provide me your address via note and i'll ship it to you :)

1 question though: Would you mind if we altered the hues and possible applied a few filters to the piece? We're going to be releasing 2 versions of the EP. one instrumental and one with vocals, so a color variation between the two will be in order.
